MIAMI BEACH, FL. USA-(2-2-2003) Gosling's brings the true flavor of Bermuda to the 2003 Acura SORC with the Black Seal “Bermuda Triangle Party` at the Clevelander, one of South Beach’s most popular nightspots.
The party will be held on Friday, February 28th from 7 – 11 pm at Miami’s famed Clevelander and will feature plenty of Black SEAL® RUM and other Gosling’s products, as well as a live band and a presentation of the day’s race footage, provided by Acura and produced by T2 Productions. The event will be free to all competitors and guests of the Acura SORC who have purchased a hospitality pass.
While a private section will be provided for Acura SORC competitors and guests, the general public is also welcome to join the party and will enjoy drink specials throughout the evening courtesy of Goslings.
Over the years BLACK SEAL® Rum has become synonymous with Bermuda. It is an essential ingredient in Bermuda fish chowder, adds the island flavor to the Bermuda Rum Swizzle, and is the tempest in Bermuda’s favorite cocktail, the Dark’n Stormy. In its 62nd year, the Acura SORC will be raced off Miami Beach, February 26 – March 2, 2003. The regatta once again features racing on ocean courses with all shore-side activities headquartered at the Miami Beach Marina.
The Acura SORC is currently run by five of the founding clubs the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club, Coral Reef Yacht Club, Lauderdale Yacht Club, Miami Yacht Club and Nassau Yacht Club and is managed by global sports marketing company Octagon.
